Skate Canada New Brunswick (SCNB) provides eligible clubs and skating schools with refunds for certain registration and program fees.
Clubs can submit requests for reimbursement before December 15th of each year for:
1. Skate Canada Officials Registration Fees
Eligible Skate Canada registration fees paid for officials affiliated with the club.
- Evaluator
- Judge
- Technical Panel
- Data Specialist
- Skate Canada Announcer
Please note that refunds will only be issued for individuals who are registered solely as officials.
2. SCNB Program Fee
The SCNB Program Fee - $15 - remains unchanged in 2026-27.
These monies collected are used to subsidize skating programs such as Learn to Skate (CanSkate), Star, Podium Pathway, Synchronised Skating, Adult Skating, Officials and Coaches.
Skate Canada will continue to collect the fee as part of the registration process.
SCNB will continue to exempt the following registrants from the Skater Program Fee.
- Club Board Members that are not registered in any skating program
- Synchro Team Managers and Chaperones that are not registered in any skating program
- Officials (Data Specialist, Judges, Tech Panel, Evaluators, Announcers) that are not registered in any skating program
- Program Assistants that are not registered in any skating program
- Skate Canada New Brunswick Board Members that are not registered in any skating program
