SKATE CANADA ADULT CHAMPIONSHIPS, KAMLOOPS BC
TWO NB SKATERS HEADING TO NATIONAL CHAMPHIONSHIPS!
Kamloops British Columbia will be hosting Adult skaters from across Canada at the 2013 Skate Canada Adult Figure Skating Championships. The event will run from April 5-7, 2013 at the McArthur Island Sport and Events Centre. Hundreds of adult skaters from across the country will compete in four disciplines: free skate, interpretive, ice dance and synchronized skating.
Skate Canada offers recreational, test and competitive opportunities to adult skaters through our Adult Skate program. Programs available to adult skaters include CanSkate, STARSkate, CanPower Skate, and Synchro Skate.
New Brunswick has two skaters entered in 5 disciplines at this year’s event. Pat Noddin from the Riverview FSC and Dave Warman from the Capital City Skating Club will compete at this years competition. Pat will skate in Bronze Women Free and Silver Women Interpretive while Dave will take to the ice for the Bronze Men’s Free and Interpretive events. Together they are also skating in the Open Couples Interpretive. We wish Pat and Dave a safe trip, a great skate and know that we will be cheering you on!
